The design of this plate by the native born Jerusalem artist Aviva Haezrachy is truly a work of art. The plate is hand drawn and painted on beech wood using a vibrant and expressive motif that is reminiscent of the technique used in painting the interior of European wooden synagogues in the 17th century. The decorative theme with the hand-painted “Shivat Haminim” motif is incorporated into the design. As a master craftsman of ceremonial art, Aviva has uniquely incorporated into this Rosh Hashanah plate two glass dishes for honey and apples and a stainless steel honey spoon that is nestled into the center of the hand carved plate for a perfect fit. The 2 glass trays are not shown, see item number. Measures: 9 1/2" in diameter x 1" tall.
